Confirmed 2027 Dates
Filter the calendar to 2027 to see what has been published so far. This will be sparse compared to the current year, which is expected — see below for why.
Live Schedule Feed
Filter to 2027 to see early confirmed dates as promoters publish them. Confirmed dates are pulled from our national calendar, which is updated as promoters publish and verify them. If the calendar is empty for your area, no dates have been confirmed yet — we do not publish unverified listings.
Why 2027 Looks Empty Right Now
An empty forward calendar is a feature of how the industry schedules, not a sign that nothing is planned. Three tiers publish on three very different timelines:
- Large circuit promoters and long-running collector shows hold recurring venue contracts and can publish twelve to twenty-four months out. These are the 2027 dates you can see today.
- Regional promoters typically firm up six to twelve months ahead. Most of the 2027 calendar arrives during 2026.
- Small independent operators confirm six to ten weeks out. Their 2027 dates will not exist until deep into 2027 itself.
So the shape you should expect: a thin 2027 calendar now, filling steadily through the back half of 2026, and largely complete by early 2027 for anything happening in the first half of that year.
Which Shows Lock Dates Earliest
If you are trying to plan a year out, these are the categories that will actually have dates for you:
| Show type | Why it publishes early |
|---|---|
| Major annual collector shows | Same weekend, same venue, most years. Often effectively permanent fixtures |
| Large multi-state circuits | Recurring venue contracts across dozens of stops require locking a full year at once |
| Association and club shows | Volunteer-run and planned on an annual cycle, usually anchored to a fixed weekend |
| Large expo-format events | Convention-center scale bookings are made years ahead by necessity |
These are also the shows most worth planning travel around, which makes the overlap convenient: the events that justify booking a year ahead are the ones that tell you a year ahead.
Planning a 2027 Trip Now
If a destination show is on your list for 2027, the sequence that works:
- Confirm the date with the promoter directly. Early-published dates are the most likely to shift, since they are furthest from the event. Verify rather than assuming a listing is final.
- Check lodging availability before committing. Not to book necessarily — to find out how tight the market is around that venue on that weekend, which tells you how early you need to move.
- Book refundable if you book early. A year out, the date change risk is real enough that flexibility is worth the small premium.
- Re-verify at six months and again at one month. Two checks catch nearly every venue change or date shift before it costs you anything.
Table booking for large 2027 shows opens far earlier than most people expect, and popular shows sell out their table inventory well ahead. If you plan to vend, get on the promoter's list now rather than waiting for the date to be widely published.
What Changes Between Now and Then
Worth keeping in mind for anything booked a year out:
- Venues change. A show can keep its name, its promoter and its weekend while moving to a different hall across town.
- Promoters retire or sell. Long-running shows occasionally change hands, and the character of the show can change with it.
- State law changes. Rules affecting transfers, transport and what can be carried into a venue can shift between when you book and when you go. Re-check before traveling, particularly across state lines.
- Dates shift by a weekend. Usually driven by venue conflicts. This is the most common change and the easiest to catch with a six-month re-check.
